GOOD TO KNOWCommon questions
Reminders aren’t appearing. What should I check?
On your iPhone, open Settings → Notifications → Rx Med Reminder and check that notifications are allowed. In the app, open Settings to check reminder sound and other preferences, then check that reminders are enabled for the medication. Delivery also depends on your iPhone’s notification settings.
Can I change a medication or correct a dose?
Open Medications to edit or pause a medication and change its schedule. On Schedule, tap a completed dose to review it and choose Undo if you marked it by mistake.
How do I back up or move my plan?
Open Settings → Local Backup → Save Backup File and choose a location in Files. To bring it back, use Restore from File. Restore replaces your current plan after you confirm. A backup is a portable JSON file; keep it somewhere you trust.
Does the app sync automatically?
No. Your plan is stored on your iPhone. Rx Med Reminder has no account or automatic cloud sync. You can save a backup in Files when you choose.
For medical questions
Rx Med Reminder is an organization tool, not medical advice. For questions about medications, doses, side effects, or an urgent health concern, contact your pharmacist, clinician, or local emergency service.
