Privacy should feel simple.

Information you put in the app

Rx Med Reminder lets you save medication names, doses, instructions, schedules and taper phases, dose history, refill and supply information, and optional pharmacy name and phone number. You can also enter a display name and choose appearance and reminder preferences. The app stores this information locally on your iPhone using Apple’s on-device storage.

We do not receive this information through the app. There is no account, automatic cloud sync, advertising SDK, or app analytics in the current app.

Reminders and notifications

If you grant notification permission, the app schedules reminders locally through iOS. A notification may display a medication name unless you turn off “Show medication name” in Settings. You can change reminder sounds and optional overdue follow-ups in the app, and control or revoke notification permission in iPhone Settings. Notification delivery depends on your device settings.

Backups you choose to make

In Settings, you can export a portable JSON backup with Files and import a backup to restore your plan. Exported files can include your medications, schedules, dose history, refill and pharmacy details, display name, and preferences. You choose where the file is saved or shared, including any cloud drive you may select in Files. Such services have their own privacy practices. The app does not upload backups automatically.

Backup files are not encrypted by Rx Med Reminder. Store them somewhere you trust, and delete copies you no longer need. Restoring a backup replaces the current information in the app after you confirm.

Keeping and removing your data

You can edit or delete medications in the app. Deleting the app removes its on-device data, subject to any separate device backups made by iOS. Files you exported are under your control and are not removed when you delete the app.

This website

This website is a static site. It has no analytics, advertising trackers, account forms, or embedded third-party content. Its hosting provider may process routine technical request information, such as an IP address, to deliver the pages and maintain the service. We do not use this site to collect your medication information.
